Whale sharks might look mighty, but they aren't called predators. They don't hunt at all. They use a technique called filter feeding too eat food. Filter feeding is done by them opening their mouth and then their food flows with the water going in. All of the water going in flows out through their gill slits. Filter feeding is done horizontally or vertically. Passive feeding includes swimming with their open mouth and them bobbing side to side with their heads. Remember, these creatures aren't harmful. They are nice.
